There's lots of different parts to the Territory. There's the red centre where Uluru and Alice Springs are, it's exactly that a red sandy desert, although not the dune type that we had expected. There's the wetlands, rainforests and mangrove of Kakadu with all it's wildlife. Then there's Darwin with beaches. It's all very different and all very nice just it's so bloody far from anywhere it's not funny! It's nearly a thousand miles from Uluru to Darwin, at least the roads are good and there's no speed limit.
