Kakadu

Wow, lots of wildlife and green things and water and some abo art, some of which is quite good until you find out it was done in the 60's. There's lots of birds and animals to see, a boat ride on Yellow Water at sunset is worth the money, especially for the salties (salt water crocs, the big ones that eat you). If you want to see something completely unnatural in the midst of it all you can visit the ranger uranium mine apparently, we didn't bother.

Accommodation - We stayed in Jabiru which is the mining town built to house the workers for the mine, it was quite quiet, the pool was nice but there were lots of mozzi's. They do theme food things by the pool but they're not too well organised. They had a pancake breakfast thing but the pancakes weren't that good, they also had a roast dinner night on Sunday but they had run out of everything within the 1st half hour so we couldn't try that.
