Undara

Was a large cattle station until they realised they had the biggest lava tubes in the world in their back garden. Now it's a national park and there's a really nice campsite with cabins made from old railway carriages. The tubes themselves are very big. You have to go on a guided tour, they wont let you do anything else, it's quite expensive but worth it especially if you get a good guide. We did, his name was Alex and he new everything about everything and was a bit of an outback boy to go with it.

Accommodation - Unfortunately the campsite was fully booked so we had to stay 50km down the road in Mount Surprise, it was surprisingly nice. Can't remember the name of the campsite, it's the one behind the BP garage. You get cheap fuel if you stay there.
