San Pedro de Atacama

An oasis town on the edge of the Salar de Atacama. All the buildings are single story and made of adobe bricks. It's an amazing place although a little touristy and more expensive and a result. There are several tours available to the surrounding sites, we did the Salar and the Valle de Luna ones. Both are at sunset tours which start at 4pm and finish after the sun disappears and both are spectacular. We went with with Atacama Desert Tours for one and **** for the other, both were very good. There are several good restaurants, the Adobe Cafe was the best by far.

Accommodation - Hostal Lincancabur, OK. The price included breakfast.
