Hobart

It would be a nice old town but they've ruined it with all the new buildings. It's not as nice as Freemantle and it's a lot uglier than Perth which has suffered a similar fate. Some of the new buildings just don't seem to sit properly with the old, in some places you just want to question who approved such monstrosities. There are some nice art deco pieces as well as the usual colonial stuff, the parts of Salamanca Place around the harbour are nice.

Accommodation - Barilla Holiday Park, in Cambridge, 14km east of Hobart. OK, empty again (this could be a theme!) and clean. We were right opposite the toilet blocks which were a lot warmer than before, which was nice. The fish and chips from the restaurant was very good and some of the pizza's looked delicious.
