We stopped here for a night as it was nearer to Cape Jarvis where we had catch the Kangaroo Island ferry from, also because all the previous day on the radio they had been talking about a whale sighting at Victor Harbour which is just along the coast. When we got there the whale had left, doh! Port Elliot is just one street and a beach from what we could see, not a lot else. At Victor Harbour we went out onto a little island, Granite Island, and had a walk round, nice way to waste an hour or so but it was lacking in whales or penguins.

Accommodation - We stayed in Port Elliot Tourist Park, it's right on a little sheltered bay, it would be great in the summer. As it isn't there was only 4 other people on the site. They don't have a TV room though so we couldn't watch the football.
