We stopped of here so we could visit Magnetic Island, it's well worth the trip as the beaches and walks are fantastic. We also visited the Reef HQ which has it's own indoor reef for those who don't want to go out to see the real thing, it's a bit disappointing if you have been out but at least you can look up all the fish you've seen.

Accommodation - Magnetic Gateway Holiday Village. It was OK, it's a Top Tourist site. The Saturday night punch up between one of the locals two blocks down and the hooker he had picked up was quite entertaining, especially when the police turned up and carted him off, he was evicted the next day so it was quiet after that.
