Another mountain ski town, they're resort is Treble Cone which is the biggest in the country, also the home of Antony our friendly ski instructor turned photographer/cameraman friend and Howard and Jeanette the estate agents we met in Fiji. Wow is all I can say, of all the places we have been this is the one we want to come back to the most and would even consider living here. Bloody amazing scenery, relaxed lifestyle and a ski resort on your front doorstep.

Accommodation - Wanaka caravan park. A bit run down but OK, the toilets looked like they've had a bit of work done on them recently. Only 1km from the town centre so you can walk in. There is a new 5 star luxury campsite a bit further down the road so if you're not fussed about being able to walk in that would probably better.
