On Lake Taupo, New Zealand's biggest lake. It's a holiday destination for NZ lander's and is very nice when the sun is shining. There's lot's to do, from fishing to jet boating, it depends how you feel. There's a couple of golf courses which looked really nice, also there's the hole-in-one challenge where you hit balls out onto a platform on the lake, actually it was more fun trying to hit the guys diving to collect the golf balls.

Accommodation - Lake Taupo Holiday Park. Very nice, very new, the pool is outdoors but heated to 38° and steams when it's cold.
